Drinking Competition, Ardmore Engineering School.

An important part in forming the character of the World's future Engineers.

Three different competitions:-

1. The team race. Six members, each drinks an 8 ounce (about 240 ml) glass of beer, the next member starts after the previous bangs his glass down. In inter Varsity competition electronic pads were used to ensure no early start.
2. The individual 8 ounce, time to lift the glass, drink it and get it back to the table. Any time over 1/2 a second doesn't make it.
3. The yard. Takes about a bottle and a half (26 ounce, 800 ml)? The hard bit is to pour it without it "glugging". Fastest technique involves rotating the yard to maximise flow.
